It's too bad, because the graphics is gorgeous, the production value top notch, the game play is pretty good despite some flaws. And to think the Midgar section was my favorite part in the original FF7 back in the day. The story and storytelling is just a mess, very poor pacing, nonsensical plot logic, constant deus ex machina with the whispers, comically cliche villains, etc. I just finished FF7 remake, courtesy of PS Plus. I think it might just be because of all of the extra stuff they crammed in for you to do and I must have forgotten about parts of the detail of the story (particularly how the Occuria relate to the overall story which, if forgotten, would definitely leave the finale feeling out of place and unexplained).
I definitely think the narrative feels more like a complete story than it did to me in 2006. It went down though and that was the only close call. It did come quickly after another cutscene attack so maybe Ashe hadn't had enough time to get Renew off yet? It then started to use an attack against the reserve party that one-shotted everyone so there was a bunch of micro going on to get everyone up and the main party healed and back into waiting out its Paling. Which was weird because none of its other attacks had done much more than half their life in damage. The final boss actually almost party wiped me after its Paling went up and it used its Super Ultra Duper Megaflare to KO my main party. None of the achievements are missable, however you will have to do multiple playthroughs of every story mode.And FFXII, Fin.Being able to use this is required for only one achievement. GACHI is set to the RB, this will allow you to perfect parry with correct timing and landing one will also let you counter attack.Heat Up also has one major function in regards to this walkthrough, and that is letting you damage the boss The End of Deathbringer which you will fight multiple times in attempting the hardest achievement in this game.Pressing will use one bar and put you into Heat Up mode which powers up or enables certain moves, and using a Super Special Attack also uses one bar. When in battle you will notice a bar at the bottom of the screen, that is for Super Special Attacks and it maxes at 3.In the walkthrough itself I have labeled all moves I felt relevant with controller icons. All moves use the left stick and one of the four buttons, in the command list it will show "A/B/C/D" and these by default are " / / / ".You can also lower the difficulty of the game here.
